By accessing and using MyDoctor Online's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.
Medical Services
Consultation Services
MyDoctor Online provides online gynecological consultation services through licensed healthcare professionals. Our services are designed to provide medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations. However, online consultations may not be suitable for all medical conditions, and in-person medical care may be necessary in certain situations.
Not a Replacement for Emergency Care
Our services are not intended for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call emergency services immediately or visit your nearest emergency room.
User Responsibilities
As a user of our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information about your health and medical history
- Use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Follow all instructions and recommendations provided by healthcare professionals
- Not use our services to obtain prescription medications fraudulently
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other users
Appointments and Cancellations
Booking Appointments
Appointments are subject to availability. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to technical issues or healthcare provider unavailability.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows may result in forfeiture of the consultation fee.
Payment Terms
Payment for consultation services is required at the time of booking or as otherwise specified. We accept various payment methods as displayed on our platform. All fees are in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise stated.
Refund Policy
Refunds may be provided in accordance with our refund policy, which may vary depending on the circumstances. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the consultation date and are subject to review.
Limitations of Liability
While we strive to provide accurate medical advice and quality care, you acknowledge that:
- Online consultations have limitations and may not be suitable for all medical conditions
- We are not liable for any decisions you make based on information provided during consultations
- We do not guarantee specific medical outcomes or results
- Technical issues may occasionally interrupt services, and we are not liable for such interruptions
- You are responsible for following up with in-person care when recommended by healthcare providers
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of MyDoctor Online or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem necessary to protect our platform and users.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
